Once again, Ladysmith, an important town up in northern KwaZulu-Natal, got hit by big floods overnight. This time, the floods reached the whole CBD, so the folks in charge had to close off the N11 road that connects Ladysmith to Newcastle, at least for a while. It’s tough for the town because, just a while back on Christmas Eve, more than 21 people lost their lives due to floods. Now, after this new flood, some people are still missing, making things even harder for the community.
