NSFAS Applications Open Until January 31, 2024 – Apply Now for 2024 Academic Year Funding!

The application for NSFAS is still open, and it will close on January 31, 2024. You can apply for NSFAS even if you haven’t received your matric results yet. The government wants to remind students to apply for financial aid for the 2024 academic year.

If you’re planning to study at a public university or TVET college, it’s recommended to apply now and not wait until the last day. If you were in matric in 2023, you don’t need to wait for your matric results to apply for NSFAS.

It’s important to know that applying doesn’t guarantee funding confirmation. You need to be registered in a public university or TVET college for your funded qualification to be confirmed.

Always protect your personal information, and remember that NSFAS officials will never ask for your password. If you come across any fraud or suspicious activity, report it to the Vuvuzela hotline at 0860 247 653 or visit www.thehotline.co.za. You can also request a call-back by sending an SMS to 30916.
