South Africans React to Ndlozi’s Resignation from Parliament
Share on FacebookShare on X

The resignation of Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi from Parliament has sparked widespread reaction, with many questioning the state of Parliament without “the people’s bae.”

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) confirmed that Ndlozi and fellow MP Yazini Tetyana resigned voluntarily. The party praised their service and wished them well in their future endeavours.

Ndlozi’s exit has fuelled speculation about his role within the EFF, especially after his absence from the party’s elective conference in December. Many had hoped he would step into the Deputy President role, vacated by Floyd Shivambu.

Social media users are divided. Some applaud Ndlozi’s decision, suggesting he endured disrespect within the party. Others worry about the EFF’s direction, noting the departure of one of its sharpest minds.

For now, South Africans await Ndlozi’s next move, while concerns linger about the future of the EFF without his influence.
