YOUTH, OUR FUTURE

By Carlifonia Dube

A country that fails to invest in the future of its youth is regarded as a hopeless nation. Young people are a powerful figure of courage and persistence, they are the bravest and courageous beings. The history of the youth of 1976 demonstrates the adequacy of the power of solidarity with a determination and the strength of the deliberate minds of young people.

These young heroes and heroines have absolutely transformed the socio-political background in our country and they will forever be commemorated. These young people will always be remembered as champions who made sacrifices for today’s generation to make it possible for them to benefit from certain privileges in today’s education system.

They stood up for every young person to have a better and brighter future. The 1976 youth did not only pave the way for the youth of today, but they also fought for their freedom and stood against anything and everything that threatened them to reach greater heights.

Today’s youth is privileged because they almost get anything at will, even though some of them still face hardships, however, they still stand up and learn how to take care of themselves. The youth will always have the power to change the world and make it a better place.
