He’ll soon be showing off a brand-new smile! The recovering nyaope addict, whose real name is Mohau Louis, is set to have his teeth fixed.

The 33-year-old from Carletonville bacame famous after motorists took hilarious videos of him discussing current affairs.

In January, popular DJ Karabo Success Mokgara, known as DJ Karri, cleaned him up and helped him get admitted to a rehabilitation centre. After spending over four months in rehab, dentist Angie Matjekane decided to assist by fixing his teeth.

Dr Matjekane told Daily Sun she had known Alostro for years.“He used to come to the practice every day to ask for water. Just like that, he became someone we saw every day,” Dr Matjekane said.

Although they always wanted to help him, he was initially reluctant.“We couldn’t get him to sit in the chair. When we saw DJ Karri helping him and saw an opportunity to also step in and help”, said Dr Matjekane.

Dr. Matjekane noted that his teeth were damaged by drugs.“We’ve already removed some of the bad teeth and will be taking more out. He’ll wear false teeth until we perform a procedure to give him a new permanent set,” she stated. She added that all procedures would be done free of charge.

Alostro expressed his happiness with the procedure. “I’ve been struggling to eat meat, and hopefully, after this, I’ll be able to eat properly,” he shared. He also hinted that with things looking up, he might soon be in a relationship.
