The National Student Financial Aid Scheme, has rolled out a new loan program to help students. This scheme is for students whose families make between R350,000 and R600,000 per year. It offers loans to cover things like tuition, housing, and books.

This new loan option is meant to help students whose families earn too much for traditional financial aid but still struggle to afford education costs. The money will have to be paid back after a student finish studying.NSFAS also has other types of help, like grants and bursaries, available for students in South Africa.

If you want to apply for the new loan or learn more about NSFAS’s programs, you can visit their website or ask your school’s financial aid office.NSFAS wants to make sure that all students can get the support they need to succeed in their studies, no matter their financial situation.
