After two weeks of the saga where the police of the eThekwini Municipality was suspected on killing his lover who is also her colleague and after posted the video on social medias. It is believed that the fight between the couple was started by the divorce papers.

Constable Sizwe Ngema (27) appeared at the court on Monday in Durban for the murder of his girlfriend Bianca Khuzwayo (23).

The case has been moved to the 29th of April 2024 where he is expected to apply for bail. Ngema is alleged to have stabbed Khuzwayo to death and allegedly took videos and pictures of the woman when she drew her last breath and shared it on the social media. The couple had met at the training academy in 2023.

A relative of Mlu Ndaba, Khetha Ndaba was called, and they decided to drop the call after refusing to give out a statement.

Police spokesperson colonel Robert Netshiunda commented about Mr. Ndaba’s case,” a murder case has been opened, attempted murder and a docket of the murder of a person”.

When Sizwe Ngema appeared at the magistrate court it appeared that he already had a lawyer, Advocate Reddy, since he wanted the government provided one.

Outside the court, Mpume Khuzwayo, who is Bianca Khuzwayo’s aunt said that ever since their child died no one came from the Ngema family to see them, and that they must stick to what their doing and not come to them at all.

“Even if they do decide to come, what would they say to us? because it is quite clear that Sizwe had planned this a long time. Even now we do not know what our daughter did to deserve such cruelty, our daughter was a very quiet person which means he used to bully her and decided to kill her now,” said Mpume Khuzwayo.

Khuzwayo also revealed that they once heard from people that their daughter is being abused by Ngema, but the deceased kept it a secret because she did not want elders to know about it.

“The day that Sizwe murdered our daughter, she wanted to come out about her abusive man she has been facing, which was too late because he killed her.” Said Mpume Khuzwayo
