The 28-year-old comedian and content creator Kagiso Ramoshai (Pope) from Limpopo died in a car accident this morning which was caused by eight cars crashing between Madiba Park and Legae la batho outside Polokwane.The death of the young comedian and content creator was announced by the Limpopo Artists Movement (LAM).
LAM released a media statement that “it was with shock and surprise to hear nor announce of the passing of one of Limpopo’s raising star Kagiso Ramoshai known as “The Pope.”
The accident happened when the comedian was heading home from a famous club as result the emergency services responded and tried their best to control the situation but still Kagiso was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to LAM’s Mphoza Mashebela, Kagiso build his name staring from scratch by recording of music, being a radio broadcasting, content creating and ended by showing off his talent as a comedian and was an inspirational person who brought up his talent from far-off areas.
“The passing of the comedian and content creator has robbed his fans and the Limpopo entertainment sector in a sad way. And we would like to send our condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and fans. May his humble soul rest in peace”, he added.
The authorities stated that they are investigating the cause of the 8-car crash and urge witnesses who has seen the accident happen to come forward to assist them with the investigations.
Tshepo Ramoshai, Kagiso’s brother took it to the internet posting on his Facebook page to announce that the funeral arrangement will be confirmed soon.
“It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Kagiso “Pope” Ramoshai. In this time of grief, we appeal for your sympathy, space, and time to gather as a family. Funeral arrangements will be announced soon,” said Tshepo Ramoshai.
Kagiso Ramoshai (Pope) fans posted and comment on a social media platform X which was known as Twitter by express how the news affected them and mentioned how Kagiso healed some of them with laughter.
