Earlier this year Naledi spoke to TshisaLive about her recent success after the famous collaboration saying “I was popular before but since he Shooter song I gained more popularity and more people asking for pictures and my cellphone number, adding I’d like to start the process of applying to purse music and drama at a university or private institution and put a tombstone on my mother’s grave and hopefully get to meet Chris Brown”.

Taking to her Instagram, Naledi posted three nominations she got which were for categories Sofnfree Pop Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for her song Ngiyabonga and Collaboration of the Year featuring Nomfondo Moh and Fezeka Dlamini. She also captioned “Hey guys your girl is nominated on Basadi in Music Awards. Haaa 3X Nominees, please let’s vote ngiyabonga (thank you)”, she wrote. Taking to comment section, Facebook users congratulated her on her recent nomination. One user said “Congratulations baby gal, you deserve it”. Another user said “Wow congratulations”.
