A terrible accident happened in Limpopo. A bus carrying 45 people, mostly worshippers, crashed. It went out of control, fell off a bridge, and caught fire.
Sadly, 45 people died, and many others were badly hurt. Only one person, an eight-year-old girl, survived. She was taken to the hospital by helicopter.The worshippers were traveling from Gaborone, Botswana, to Moria near Polokwane when the accident occurred.
Transport Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga visited the crash site. She felt very sad about what happened. She explained “The bus, pulling a trailer, went off the bridge and fell into the rocky river below. There were 45 people on board. Only one little girl survived. She was taken to the hospital. Another person was airlifted to the hospital but didn’t make it. These were the people traveling from Gaborone, Botswana, to the Moria church.”
